When a generation finds hope, everything changes.
Admirals Basketball is using basketball to build relationships, introduce Jesus, and graduate leaders.
Life is difficult for young people in Moldova and Ukraine.
We are losing an entire generation of youth due to a culture void of values, jobs and parental guidance. Add to that the pressures of war and the thought of a better life for any young person becomes too hard to imagine. This leads many young people feeling trapped. Abandoned. This often leads the young to risky behaviors. Alcohol, drugs and teen pregnancies are on the rise and the cycle of poverty and hopelessness continues.
We believe no young person should have to face a hopeless future trapped in a world with no real meaning or purpose in life
We understand the struggle.
We get it because we grew up here too. The struggles of poverty and lack of resources can be crushing.
Jesus changes us. And He can do the same for others.
We’ve been coaching young athletes since 2012 building relationships to change lives and give kids hope. And it9s working! Hundreds of young people have found their hope and purpose in Jesus Christ. These youth are now young, productive adults leading others, breaking the cycle of brokenness and despair.
The David Robinson Connection
Admirals is named after NBA legend David "The Admiral" Robinson. His name stands not only for athletic excellence, but also for strong character, faith, and community service.
David Robinson is an NBA champion, Olympic gold medalist, and Hall of Fame inductee. His example inspires us to raise a new generation of leaders through the integration of sports, faith, and Christian values.
Nick and his staff have big hearts and even bigger goals. I always enjoy our fellowship and I enthusiastically support their work with the Admirals Academy.= - David Robinson
The ADMIRALS plan to success.
Build relationships through the sport of basketball
We coach basketball skills and train players to compete with discipline, integrity and teamwork. Our teams have winning reputation nationally and among neighboring countries.
Teach biblical principles through discipleship
We teach players how faith relates to basketball and life. We explore faith and expose them to Biblical principles like service, honesty and initiative. These principles lead players to the life changing truth found in Jesus Christ.
Graduate leaders through Admirals certification
We practice next level leadership training through life-on-life discipleship putting life-skills to practice. Young leaders are given opportunities to teach and coach younger players which in turn impacts their family, friends, community and sport culture.
The path forward as an Admiral.
